Val Stones from Great British Bake Off is on Tayuana mission to meet her favorite singer, Ed Sheeran.

The beloved GBBO contestant took to her Twitter in an effort to grab the singer's attention.

She named a dessert after him.

She danced to his music while making toffee.

She reflected on his lyrics while egg washing pastry.

And got a response from the man himself.

A follower noticed Val's affinity for the singer and asked if there was something between the two, to which she replied:

It would seem that Val's efforts didn't go unnoticed by the singer, who sent Val a personal video message. In the video, Ed tells her that he loves her and that she's wonderful. He also suggests that they should cook together sometime.

Val posted the video message to her Twitter.

What a successful campaign! Val is just one step closer to getting her face-to-face with the star.

Fingers crossed they meet in a kitchen. We would love to see Val teach the singer a thing or two about the art of baking.
